Terms of Use & Disclaimer

BldFox (the "Platform") is an online community and listings service that allows users in the United Arab Emirates to connect with one another and to discover independent businesses, professionals, tradespeople, suppliers and service providers (collectively, "Contractors"). The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

BldFox is not a contractor, broker, agency, employer, escrow provider, payment processor, insurer, guarantor, inspector, surveyor, lawyer, or financial institution. BldFox does not perform any of the services advertised by Contractors and does not supervise the manner in which any work is carried out.

By creating an account, submitting a post, comment, review, quote request, profile or any other content, by contacting a Contractor through the Platform, or by listing as a Contractor, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms and by the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

You must be at least 18 years old and a UAE resident, or a business lawfully operating in the UAE, to use the Platform. By using BldFox you confirm that you meet these requirements.

We take your word for your age; we do not verify it. We do not ask for your date of birth and we do not check it against any document, so the statement above is yours rather than something we have confirmed. We say so plainly because a platform that implied it had verified your age would be claiming a check it had not carried out. If we are told that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it.

Acceptance is electronic and it is binding. Ticking the acceptance box, clicking a button marked as acceptance, or otherwise using the Platform after being shown these Terms creates a contract concluded by electronic means. Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 46 of 2021 on Electronic Transactions and Trust Services, an electronic record and an electronic signature carry the same legal effect as a paper document and a handwritten signature, and may not be denied enforceability merely because they are electronic. When you accept, we record which version of these Terms you accepted and when. You agree that our records of that acceptance, and of your activity on the Platform, are admissible evidence of what was agreed.

Listings, profiles, portfolios, ratings, photos, descriptions and messages are submitted by users and Contractors. BldFox does not independently verify the accuracy, completeness, currency, quality, safety or legality of any listing or any work performed by a Contractor.

Where a "Verified" badge is shown, it confirms only two things, as checked by BldFox's team at a point in time: that the Contractor's trade licence exists, and that the business is registered under the same name as the listing. That is all it means. It does not mean that BldFox has vetted, approved, endorsed or recommends the Contractor, and it is not a statement that the Contractor is a good, reliable or suitable business. It is not a guarantee of the Contractor's current licensing status, insurance coverage, workmanship, conduct, financial standing or fitness for any particular job. BldFox does not verify the identity of individuals and does not hold identity documents.

The Platform hosts posts, comments, reviews, photos and other material submitted by users (collectively, "User Content"). Posts, comments and reviews are displayed publicly with the author's display name and profile photo. The display name is the one on the author's profile: the author chooses it and can change it at any time, and an account created with Google starts with the name on the Google account. An author's email address is never shown, and their phone number is shown only if they have chosen to make it public. The author remains legally responsible for what they publish, and BldFox may disclose author identity where required by UAE law, court order, or a lawful request from a competent authority.

User Content is the sole responsibility of the person who submitted it. BldFox does not author, endorse, verify, fact-check or adopt any User Content. Opinions, allegations, recommendations, warnings, prices, advice and reviews expressed in User Content are those of the author alone and do not represent the views of BldFox.

To help keep the community safe, BldFox operates an automated moderation system (including AI-based text and image classifiers) that may auto-approve, hold for review, or auto-reject submissions before they appear on the Platform. Approval, rejection, appeal review by an administrator, or any other moderation decision is provided on a best-effort basis only and creates no warranty, representation or assumption of responsibility by BldFox. In particular:

• Approval of a post, comment, review or image does not mean BldFox has endorsed it, verified it, or accepted any responsibility for its content, accuracy or legality.
• Rejection of a submission does not mean the author is unlawful, untruthful or untrustworthy; it means only that, on the information available, our automated rules classified the submission as outside the Platform's content policy.
• BldFox is not liable for User Content that slips past moderation, for content wrongly approved, for content wrongly rejected, for delays in review, or for any loss arising from a moderation decision.
• Authors remain solely responsible under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on Combatting Rumours and Cybercrimes, the UAE Penal Code, the UAE Media Regulation framework, and any other applicable law, for everything they publish through the Platform.

By submitting any User Content you agree that you will not post, upload, link to or transmit content that falls into any of the following categories. Any submission classified as falling into these categories will be rejected automatically, and repeat offenders may have their accounts suspended or terminated without notice:

• Profanity, hate speech, harassment or abuse. Including slurs, insults, threats, doxxing, and content targeting any person or group on the basis of race, religion, nationality, gender, sexuality, disability or social origin.
• Political content. Political opinions, campaigning, criticism of governments, public officials, royal families, state policies or geopolitical disputes (whether relating to the UAE or any other country).
• Competitor links and off-platform marketplaces. Links to, promotion of, or solicitation toward competing classifieds, contractor directories, social marketplaces or similar services.
• Nudity, sexual content or sexual solicitation. Including suggestive imagery, partial nudity, and any sexual services or escort-related content.
• Off-topic content. Only content relating to UAE neighbourhood / social life and contractor or trade-related work is permitted. Personal sales, dating, fundraising, MLM schemes, crypto promotions, religious preaching, news commentary, memes, jokes and other off-topic posts are not permitted.
• Languages other than English or Arabic. Posts, comments and reviews must be written in English or Arabic so the community can understand and so moderation can operate effectively.
• Illegal content. Anything that breaches UAE law, including content that infringes intellectual property, defames an identifiable person or business, breaches privacy or data-protection rules, promotes drugs, gambling, weapons, terrorism, religious intolerance, or any other unlawful activity.
• Malicious or deceptive material. Spam, phishing, malware, impersonation, fake reviews, paid reviews, review trading, and content posted on behalf of an undisclosed third party.

Soft-flagged content (for example, complaints that name a specific business, price disputes, or borderline tone) may be held for human review before publication. The decision of the BldFox moderation team on whether to publish, hide, edit or remove any submission is final and is not appealable beyond the in-product appeal mechanism.

By submitting User Content you grant BldFox a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sub-licensable and transferable licence to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, translate, moderate and otherwise use that content for the purpose of operating, promoting and improving the Platform. You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights to the content you submit and that publication of that content on the Platform does not infringe the rights of any third party or breach any law.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless BldFox, its founders, owners, employees, contractors, affiliates and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, fines, penalties, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with User Content you submit, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

If you believe that any User Content infringes your rights, breaches UAE law or violates the restricted-content list above, please use the in-product report function or write to contact@bldfox.com. For a complaint under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 38 of 2021 on Copyright and Neighbouring Rights, or UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 36 of 2021 on Trademarks, please tell us: (i) what the work or mark is and what you own or are authorised to enforce; (ii) a link to the material on the Platform you say infringes it; (iii) how to reach you; and (iv) a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder or by law. We may ask for proof of the right before acting.

BldFox will review credible complaints and may, at its sole discretion, remove or restrict access to the content concerned, and will notify the person who posted it where it is reasonable to do so. Accounts that repeatedly post infringing material may be suspended or terminated. A knowingly false or abusive complaint is itself a breach of these Terms and may expose you to liability towards the person whose content was removed.

Reviews and ratings posted on the Platform are the personal opinions of the author about a specific interaction with a Contractor. BldFox does not author, endorse, verify or fact-check reviews and is not responsible for the views expressed in them. Reviews are displayed with the author's display name, and the author remains solely and personally responsible under UAE law for the content of any review they publish.

Contractors may not buy, trade, incentivise, write, solicit from family or employees, or otherwise manipulate reviews. Users may not write reviews about businesses they have never engaged, or on behalf of an undisclosed third party. BldFox may, at its sole discretion and without obligation, hide, remove or restrict any review that appears to breach these rules, but is under no duty to do so and accepts no liability for reviews that remain visible or for reviews that are removed.

A Contractor's disagreement with a review is not, by itself, grounds for removal. Disputes about the truth of a review are a matter between the author and the Contractor, to be resolved directly or through the competent UAE authorities.

Parts of the Platform are powered by artificial intelligence. The "Get quoted" assistant holds a conversation with you, asks about your job, drafts the job you can post to the jobs board and, if you ask, suggests Contractors; automated classifiers screen text and images before publication; and images you upload may be described automatically so they can be assessed. To provide these features, the text you type and the images you upload are transmitted to third-party model providers, some of which are located outside the UAE. The providers, what they receive and the legal basis for those transfers are set out in the Privacy Policy.

AI output is generated, not verified. Anything produced by an AI-assisted feature, whether a summary of your job, a category, a price band, a suggested scope of work, a description of a photo, a shortlist of Contractors or a translation, is machine generated. It may be incomplete, out of date, or simply wrong. It is not professional, technical, engineering, legal, safety, valuation or financial advice, it is not a quotation, and it is not an offer capable of acceptance. Do not rely on it as the basis for a decision, a payment or a contract without checking it yourself.

A Contractor appearing in an AI-generated suggestion has not been recommended, endorsed, vetted or ranked for quality by BldFox. Suggestions reflect category, service area and similar mechanical signals only. BldFox gives no warranty as to the accuracy, suitability, availability or completeness of any AI output and, to the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, accepts no liability for any loss arising from reliance on it.

Do not enter passwords, bank or card details, Emirates ID or passport numbers, health information, or anyone else's personal data into the assistant. You remain responsible for what you type into it, and the content rules in Section 2B apply to your messages there as they do everywhere else on the Platform.

BldFox checks every Contractor listing automatically before it goes live, and our team checks every trade licence a Contractor submits to us. Submitting a licence is optional: a listing without one can still go live, and is shown as Unverified, but only a Verified Contractor can respond to a job on the jobs board or see a customer's number. Where we check a licence, that check is a document check at a point in time. It is not proof of identity, it is not proof that the person who submitted the document owns the business named on it, and it is not proof that they are authorised to act for that business. Documents can be copied, borrowed, altered or stolen, and a determined person can get past a check of this kind.

You should therefore assume that, despite these checks, it is possible for someone to register under another business's name, to reuse another business's trade licence, or to create a listing that impersonates a Contractor who has never used the Platform. BldFox gives no warranty or representation that any Contractor listing is operated by the business it names, and accepts no liability for any loss arising from an impersonated, borrowed or falsified identity.

It is your sole responsibility, as the customer, to satisfy yourself that the Contractor you are dealing with is who they claim to be, before any work begins and before any money changes hands. At a minimum: ask to see the original trade licence, check that the name on it matches the name on the listing and the name on the quotation, verify the licence directly with the issuing authority, and confirm that the individual in front of you is authorised to contract on behalf of the licensed entity. Pay the licensed business, not an individual, and keep receipts. Section 7 sets out the rest of the checks we ask you to make.

If you are a Contractor and you believe someone has created a listing or an account using your company name, your trade licence, your logo, your photographs or your team's details, contact us at contact@bldfox.com or through the contact page, with your trade licence and enough detail to identify the listing. We will investigate and may suspend, hide, correct or remove the listing under Section 8A. We aim to act promptly, but we do not guarantee any particular outcome or timeframe, and reporting a listing to us is not a substitute for whatever legal remedies you may have.

Impersonating another person or business, or submitting a document that is not your own, is a breach of these Terms, may be an offence under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on Combatting Rumours and Cybercrimes and under the UAE Penal Code, and may be reported by BldFox to the competent authorities.

Any quote, estimate, scope of work, contract, deposit, payment, variation, milestone, warranty, after-sales service, refund or guarantee is a private matter strictly between the customer and the Contractor. BldFox is not a party to that relationship and assumes no obligation arising out of it.

Customers are strongly encouraged to obtain a written, itemised quotation, sign a written contract setting out scope, timing, pricing, materials and payment terms, and retain copies of all communications and receipts before any work begins or any payment is made.

A job you post through the "Get quoted" assistant is shown on the jobs board, with its photos and files, to every Contractor with a live listing for as long as the job is open, and the Platform notifies the Verified Contractors that match it most closely by trade and location. Only a Verified Contractor can respond to it. BldFox does not add your name to a job, and the words of a job may not contain contact details. You may choose, for each job, to be reached by phone or WhatsApp as well as in BldFox Messages. If you do, every Contractor that can see the job sees that preference, and your number is shown only to the Contractors that respond to it (or, if you choose, to none of them until you share it in a conversation), while the job is open and afterwards only to the Contractor you hired. You may give only a number that is yours to give, and you may stop sharing it with any Contractor at any time, though BldFox cannot recall a number a Contractor has already seen. A Contractor that responds opens a conversation with you in BldFox Messages, where it sees the name on your profile. What a Contractor does with a job, with that conversation and with anything you choose to share is outside BldFox's control. BldFox does not guarantee that any Contractor will respond, respond within any particular timeframe, honour any price indicated, attend any appointment, or complete any work.

Direct messages between users and Contractors are private between the parties, but are stored on BldFox infrastructure and may be accessed by BldFox where reasonably necessary to operate the Platform, investigate abuse, comply with UAE law, or respond to a lawful request from a competent authority. Do not share confidential, sensitive personal, financial or government-issued information through the messaging system.

To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, BldFox, its founders, owners, employees, contractors, affiliates and agents accept no liability whatsoever for any matter arising in connection with a contact made via the Platform, including but not limited to:

• quality, timeliness, completeness or safety of any work performed;
• delays, no-shows, abandonment or non-performance;
• damage to property, personal injury, or loss of life;
• breach of contract, misrepresentation, negligence or fraud;
• refunds, chargebacks, deposits not returned, or stolen materials;
• unlicensed, unauthorised or sub-contracted activity;
• tax, VAT, customs, visa or labour-law compliance of any Contractor;
• warranty, after-sales or maintenance obligations;
• defamatory, harassing or unlawful messages exchanged between users.

BldFox does not process, hold, escrow, refund or facilitate payments between customers and Contractors. All payments are made directly between the parties, by whatever method they agree, entirely at their own risk. BldFox has no visibility over, and no responsibility for, the amount, method, timing or recovery of any payment.

BldFox may, now or in the future, offer paid features to Contractors (such as listing fees, promoted placement, subscription plans, lead packs or verification add-ons). Where such fees apply, they are clearly disclosed before purchase and are governed by the pricing page and any plan-specific terms in force at the time of purchase. Paying for any such feature does not create an employment, agency, partnership or joint-venture relationship with BldFox, does not guarantee leads, ranking, conversions, revenue or any other commercial outcome, and does not transfer to BldFox any responsibility for the works the Contractor performs.

Price, VAT and invoices. Prices for paid features are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED). Where BldFox is registered for Value Added Tax under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017 on Value Added Tax (as amended by Federal Decree-Law No. 18 of 2022), prices are stated inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate unless the checkout screen says otherwise, and a valid tax invoice showing the Tax Registration Number will be issued for each payment. Where BldFox is not yet VAT-registered, no VAT is charged and no tax invoice is issued. Any bank charge, currency conversion cost or card fee applied by your own payment provider is yours to bear.

Subscriptions and renewal. Where a paid feature is sold as a recurring subscription, the billing period, the price and the renewal date are shown before you buy. Unless you cancel before the end of the current period, the subscription renews automatically for a further period at the then-current price. You can cancel at any time from your account settings or by writing to us; cancellation stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the period already paid for. We will tell you before any price increase takes effect and you may cancel instead of accepting it.

Unless expressly stated in writing, fees paid for paid features are non-refundable. BldFox may change pricing, suspend, or discontinue any paid feature at any time on reasonable notice.

No refunds for downtime, outages or discontinuation. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, fees paid for any membership, subscription, listing, promoted placement, lead pack, verification add-on or other paid feature are non-refundable in whole or in part, and BldFox shall have no obligation to refund, credit, pro-rate, compensate or otherwise reimburse any user or Contractor in the event of: (i) temporary or prolonged unavailability, downtime, degradation, maintenance windows, bugs, data loss or reduced functionality of the Platform; (ii) failure, outage or breach of any third-party infrastructure or service the Platform relies on; (iii) suspension or termination of an account or listing under these Terms; (iv) force majeure events as described in Section 8B; (v) any change, suspension, discontinuation or wind-down of the Platform or of any paid feature, plan, tier or benefit, whether temporary or permanent; or (vi) BldFox ceasing to operate, in whole or in part, for any reason. By purchasing any paid feature you acknowledge that you have read and accepted this no-refund policy and that you are paying for access to the Platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis only, with no guarantee of continued service, results, leads, revenue or any other outcome.

What this Section cannot take away. Nothing in this Section 5 excludes, limits or waives any right that UAE law does not permit to be excluded, limited or waived , in particular any mandatory right of a consumer under Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and Cabinet Resolution No. 66 of 2023 issuing its Executive Regulations, or under Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023 on Trading by Modern Technological Means, including any statutory right to a refund, replacement or remedy where a paid feature is not delivered, is materially different from what was described, or is defective. Where any part of this Section conflicts with such a right, that right prevails and the rest of this Section continues to apply.

Any dispute arising between a customer and a Contractor must be resolved directly between those parties or, where appropriate, through the relevant UAE authorities, including the Department of Economy & Tourism in the relevant emirate, the Department of Economic Development, the Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA) in Dubai where applicable, the Consumer Protection Department of the UAE Ministry of Economy, the consumer protection unit of the relevant municipality, or the competent UAE courts. Nothing in these Terms waives any mandatory consumer right granted under UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection or its implementing regulations.

BldFox may, at its sole discretion and without obligation, remove a listing or restrict an account in response to credible reports of misconduct. Doing so is not, and shall not be construed as, an assumption of responsibility, a finding of fault, or an undertaking to mediate, investigate or compensate any party.

• Verify the Contractor's current UAE trade licence and insurance, directly with the issuing authority, and check that the name on the licence matches the name on the listing and on the quotation. See Section 2F: this is your responsibility, not ours.
• Ask for and check references and recent work.
• Insist on a written, itemised quotation and a signed contract.
• Never pay the full amount upfront; tie payments to milestones.
• Pay through traceable methods and keep receipts.
• Report suspected fraud or misconduct to BldFox and the authorities.

By listing on BldFox you confirm that you hold a valid UAE trade licence for the services you offer, that you comply with all applicable UAE laws and regulations (including labour, immigration, tax and consumer-protection law), and that you alone are responsible for the works you perform, the agreements you sign, the payments you collect, and the after-sales obligations you owe to your customers. BldFox is not your employer, agent, partner or guarantor.

You also confirm that all information you submit, including business name, category, service area, photos, portfolio images, team member details, pricing indicators, trade licence number, insurance details and any uploaded documents, is true, current, your own (or used with the owner's permission), and not misleading. You will keep this information up to date and will remove your listing if you cease to be lawfully entitled to operate in the UAE.

You will publish your trade licence number on your listing and will offer only services that licence actually covers. You will not advertise, imply or accept work outside its scope, and you will not present another business's licence, insurance, portfolio or credentials as your own. Your listing is commercial advertising and must comply with UAE advertising and consumer-protection rules: prices and price indicators must be genuine, claims must be capable of being substantiated, and "free", "guaranteed", "certified" and similar words must be accurate.

You are solely responsible for your own tax position, including registration for and accounting of VAT under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017 (as amended) and corporate tax under Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022, and for issuing customers the invoices the law requires. BldFox does not withhold, collect, report or remit any tax on your behalf and gives no tax advice.

While your listing is live you can see the open jobs on the jobs board. Responding to a job, by quoting for it or asking about it, and seeing a customer's number need the Verified badge. A job, its photos and anything a customer tells you about it are shown to you so that you can quote for that work or ask about it, and for no other purpose. You will not copy, collect or republish jobs, share a job, its photos or a customer's details with anyone outside your business, or use them to market anything to the customer that they did not ask for. A customer's phone number reaches you for the one job it was shared on: you will contact the customer on it only about that job, stop when they ask you to, and not add it to any marketing list or broadcast.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account. Notify BldFox immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

BldFox may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, suspend, restrict, downgrade, hide or terminate any account, listing or piece of content where it reasonably believes there has been a breach of these Terms, a breach of UAE law, a risk to other users, fraudulent or abusive behaviour, repeated moderation rejections, chargebacks, or where required by a competent authority. Suspension or termination is not, and shall not be construed as, an admission of liability or a finding of fault on the part of BldFox and gives rise to no claim for compensation, refund or damages.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, uninterrupted availability, or freedom from error or interruption. BldFox does not warrant that the Platform will be secure, error-free, free of viruses, or continuously available.

The Platform relies on third-party infrastructure (including cloud hosting, database, email-delivery, SMS, AI and analytics providers). BldFox is not responsible for outages, data loss, delays, breaches or other failures caused by such third parties.

BldFox shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, pandemic, power or internet failure, cyber attack, or failure of any third-party service.

Some messages are part of the service and you cannot switch them off while you hold an account: sign-in and verification emails, security alerts, replies to your quote requests, moderation outcomes, billing and renewal notices, and changes to these Terms or the Privacy Policy. They are sent because they are necessary to operate your account, not for marketing.

Anything promotional, meaning newsletters, feature announcements, offers and contractor lead campaigns, is sent only with your prior consent, consistent with the UAE's regulatory framework for unsolicited electronic communications administered by the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA). Every promotional message identifies BldFox as the sender and carries a working way to unsubscribe, and we will stop sending them promptly once you do. Withdrawing marketing consent does not close your account and does not stop the service messages listed above.

You may not use the Platform, its messaging system or any contact details obtained through it to send unsolicited commercial messages to other users or Contractors, to build a marketing list, or to scrape, harvest or resell contact data. Doing so is a breach of these Terms and may also breach UAE law.

The Platform contains links and references to websites, social profiles, catalogues, WhatsApp numbers and other resources operated by Contractors, users or unrelated third parties. BldFox does not control them, does not review them, and does not endorse them. Following such a link takes you outside the Platform, where these Terms and our Privacy Policy stop applying and the operator's own terms take over. BldFox accepts no responsibility for the content, accuracy, safety, legality, availability or data practices of any third-party destination, or for anything you buy, download or agree to there.

To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, in no event shall BldFox be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform or any contact made through it, even if BldFox has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, the aggregate liability of BldFox to any single user, Contractor or business arising out of or in connection with the Platform, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statute or otherwise, shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total fees actually paid by that user to BldFox in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) AED 500 (five hundred UAE Dirhams).

What is carved out of this Section. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under UAE law. In particular, and without limitation, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by BldFox's negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) gross fault or wilful misconduct; (d) any liability arising from a harmful act to the extent that Article 296 of UAE Federal Law No. 5 of 1985 (the Civil Transactions Law), which renders void any agreement exempting a person from liability for a harmful act, applies; or (e) any mandatory right of a consumer under Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and its Executive Regulations.

The exclusions and the cap set out above apply only to the extent permitted by UAE law and are severable from one another. If a court of competent jurisdiction finds any of them unenforceable, it shall be read down to the maximum extent that law permits rather than disregarded, and the remainder of this Section shall continue in full force.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless BldFox, its founders, owners, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates and agents from and against any and all third-party claims, demands, actions, proceedings, damages, fines, penalties, liabilities, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (i) your use or misuse of the Platform; (ii) any content you submit; (iii) any agreement, communication, payment or works between you and another user or Contractor; (iv) your breach of these Terms or the Privacy Policy; or (v) your violation of any UAE law or any right of a third party.

These Terms are governed by, and shall be construed in accordance with, the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Platform shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. This does not affect any right you may have under UAE law, as a consumer or otherwise, to bring proceedings before the competent court of the emirate in which you reside, nor any right to refer a consumer complaint to the Ministry of Economy, the Department of Economy and Tourism or Department of Economic Development of the relevant emirate, or any other competent authority, before or instead of going to court.

Before starting proceedings, we ask that you write to us at contact@bldfox.com setting out the complaint, so that we have a chance to resolve it. This is a request, not a precondition, and it does not suspend any limitation period or restrict your access to the courts or to any competent authority.

BldFox may update these Terms from time to time, to reflect new features, a change in the law, or a change in how the Platform works. Each version carries the date at the top of this page and a version identifier that is recorded against your account when you accept it.

Where a change is material, for example one that affects your rights, your obligations, fees, or the way disputes are handled, we will give notice by email to the address on your account or by an in-product notice at least fourteen (14) days before it takes effect, and we may ask you to accept the new version before continuing. Corrections of typographical errors, clarifications that do not change meaning, and changes required to comply with the law with immediate effect may be made without that notice period. Continued use of the Platform after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the Platform and close your account, as described in Section 12.

To report misuse, exercise a right, or contact us for any other reason, write to contact@bldfox.com or use the contact page.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms for paid features, constitute the entire agreement between you and BldFox in relation to the Platform and supersede any prior understanding or arrangement.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a competent UAE court, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Ending this agreement. You may stop using the Platform and close your account at any time from your profile settings, or by writing to contact@bldfox.com from the address on your account. Closing your account ends these Terms for the future but does not by itself refund any fee already paid, undo anything already published, or release either of us from an obligation that arose before it. Deletion of your personal data on closure is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

Survival. Sections 2C (licence, indemnity and takedown), 3, 4, 5, 9, 9A, 10 and 12 survive the termination of these Terms or the closure of your account, together with any other provision which by its nature is intended to survive.

No waiver. Failure by BldFox to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without BldFox's prior written consent. BldFox may assign these Terms, in whole or in part, in connection with a corporate reorganisation, sale or transfer of its business.

Notices. Notices to you may be given by email to the address on your account or by an in-product notice. Notices to BldFox must be sent to contact@bldfox.com.

Language. These Terms are issued in both English and Arabic, and both versions have been prepared to express the same meaning. The English version is the binding and governing version and shall prevail in the event of any conflict, discrepancy or inconsistency between the two. You acknowledge that proceedings before the onshore courts and official authorities of the UAE are conducted in Arabic, and that such a court or authority will work from a certified Arabic translation of these Terms.

Data protection. BldFox processes personal data in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and any implementing regulations issued under it, as described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that your use involves the processing of personal data, including its transfer to service providers outside the UAE on the bases set out in that policy.
